Got ‘dressed’ for the first time in 2025 so it required documentation. This denim shirt reminds me of Nanny (my mom’s mom who passed away when I was a junior in high school) & I love it so much!

I stuck to the commitment I made to myself in Dece

I stuck to the commitment I made to myself in December to ‘walk 31 times for 15+ minutes each walk’ while wearing my {new} weighted vest…some days I didn’t get it in until late in the day, other days I went for 30 minutes, but every walk I recognized 5 things:
•this is harder than I expected it to be
•12lbs is nothing to laugh at
•my core was so much more engaged than on a normal walk
•I’m stronger than I thought
•I have even more respect for our service men/women & first responders who carry so much more (in every sense) daily

I’m looking forward to continuing to incorporate my #weightedvest in my wellness routine in 2025! Do you have one yet?! I’d love to know your thoughts if you do!

EVOLVE✨

My 2025 #wordoftheyear just felt right the moment it came to me. A word that to me signifies growth, understanding, the ability to overcome, achievement…a gradual build to something greater vs. immediate success or gratification. I feel it touches all aspects of live - evolving in motherhood & marriage & friendships, evolving in what wellness & health mean to me, evolving in how I view my body (internally + externally), evolving in how my priorities have shifted.

2024 I knew I needed to TRUST Him. His process, His plans, His ways…and I did ok. Struggled a lot, but always came back. Looking forward to watching 2025 be a year I evolve into a content version of myself🤍
