It seems like just yesterday Haley was living with Kyle & I in Omaha and had only just met ‘some boy’ named Adam. As of 5:30pm on Saturday, October 3rd, that boy became her husband. You hope that your siblings will find true love and live happily ever after, but at the same time as the oldest sister I was always a bit skeptical that anyone would be good enough for my little sisters. Adam won me (and Kyle) over after not too long and I can honestly say that I do believe he is her perfect match. They complete–and balance–each other out and it has been so much fun to witness their relationship grow from the first time they met to the present day.
This past weekend was a celebration of love and Haley looked every bit like a Princess. She doesn’t welcome attention or all-eyes on her and is a bit shy, but she radiated a joy on Saturday that was more than I have ever seen in her 24 years. I’m so proud to call her my sister and I am now so proud to welcome my first brother-in-law into our big, loud, crazy family. Once you become an honorary Breon, you’ll forever be surrounded with support, respect, and love…and you’ll likely also encounter a bit of drama along the way đŸ™‚
These are some pictures that I got throughout the day and I hope they captured a small glimpse of the beautiful day, the stunning bride, and the happy Axthlem couple!
Cheers to the new couple & may they live HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!
