Making BOTH of these recipes this weekend while in Texas. What better way to watch College Football and hang out with the family than with a class of Fall Sangria? I mean, duh! I’m a huge Pinot Noir fan so I’m betting the red will be my favorite but clearly I must give both a fair chance. I love being festive with literally everything from what I eat/drink to how I decorate once Fall comes and now that we’re into November, I’m even more excited for Thanksgiving & Christmas! I’m like a little kid and I’m not ashamed.

#2 Pull Ups

The Push-Up Challenge is well underway for me and as I’ve been doing them each morning I’ve thought about how much I’d like to be able to do a pull up again. And by pull up I mean the kind where your hands go under to grip the bar, not over. Never have I ever been able to do one of those ‘real’ ones but back in the glory days—aka early high school—I could crank out a whopping 5 or so underhand ones. #strong 😉 I love that you are lifting your own body weight. For some reason I find that incredibly impressive, plus it’s a great arm/ab exercise. I’ve found a few ‘how-to-do-a-pull up’ tutorials but I think I’m going to do my own thing, like usual. We have one of these workout bars in our bedroom door frame that’s gotten about 0 use since I bought it so now it’s time to get my money’s worth! My new goal is to be able to do 5 underhand pull ups again by Christmas Day. Anyone want to join me in that quest?!

#3 It’s A 10 Haircare

Yes I received a box full of some amazing full-sized products from the brand but I wasn’t required to write any sort of glowing review or even really report on my thoughts. I was asked to do an Insta post, which I did, and then just enjoy. Because I am now fully obsessed, I felt obligated to share my love with all of you! I was familiar with the brand because my mom has had some of their stuff in the past but I hadn’t tried anything for myself until about 2 weeks ago. Shame on me for waiting this long because I love every single product that I’ve now tried. The shampoo + conditioner combo smells so good and has left my hair smoother and shinier than anything I’ve used in the past {take that as you will since I usually buy Tresemme or similar}. The It’s A 10 Dry Shampoo & Conditioner has so far been my 2nd favorite–still love Batiste–I’ve tried and I’ve honestly gone through every brand from Dove to Drybar to Oribe. While I’ve only used the hair mask 3 times since I got it, I’m confident that it works too. My favorite product by far is the Miracle Leave-In Conditioner. Basically it’s a detangler that you spritz all over wet hair after you shower and it is perfection! All of the products smell really good too which is a huge bonus for me!
