Another Thursday, another installment of my #ThursdayThree.
Not surprising at all, last week’s post on Palmer was a major hit. Something about cute babies just makes everyone happy–at least that is sure true for me! My initial goal with this series was to keep everything short & sweet, but no surprise to anyone, I tend to be long-winded in my writing and talking so I apologize. Kind of. Lets try and get right to it with what I can’t get enough of this fine first week of April…
#1 Chobani Flips
I know they’re not that healthy, not organic, and probably full of horrible things but whatever. It’s called balance. I’ve been literally running around the Omaha metro area this entire week and have had just about zero time to prepare proper breakfasts or lunches, so Chobani Flips have been a life-saver. I’m not a huge yogurt person {despite being lactose-intolerant, these really don’t bother my stomach!} so it’s quite likely the only reason I love these are for the awesome mix-in options. Balance people, BALANCE. They make an easy breakfast, quick snack or even a fairly low-calorie dessert before bed so I pick up a few every time I’m at the grocery store to ensure I have some on hand all the time. Right now my favorite is the Almond Coco-Loco. You should totally try them!
#2 Gymboss Interval Timer
My iPhone has a stopwatch but that wasn’t cutting it for Interval Workouts or when I would try to switch up moves quickly with little rest time so I needed something else. I knew I wanted an Interval Timer so when my dad bought me this Gymboss one, I was thrilled! I absolutely love it. It’s simple to use, can handle a ton of variations, and is so lightweight & compact that it’s perfect to travel with. It’s made interval work so much easier and at such a low price-point, it’s totally worth the purchase!
#3 My built-in travel buddy!
Kyle that is. When you marry someone, you get a spouse AND a built-in best friend. We usually tend pick out a life partner with similar interests, likes & dislikes, etc. but when it comes to travel, Kyle and I tend to be on slightly different pages. I’m all about traveling anywhere, everywhere, spur-of-the-moment and as much as possible. Kyle is more about thoughtfully planned out AND budgeted vacations. BLAH BLAH, he’s a lame Accountant. Saturday we are headed to San Diego for 5 days to enjoy a fairly last-minute trip. I’m SO excited to soak in some sun, relax, and decompress with my travel buddy. The short vacation is coming at a much-needed time so the thought of unplugging for a few days as me over the moon. While I absolutely love traveling with my family and groups of friends, I do have to say Kyle is my favorite travel partner–not just for the fact that he pays for everything! 😉
