Back when I first started A Midwestern Mix, outfit blog posts were everything. But over the years Instagram has taken a front seat. So I decided to switch things up a bit and bring you an Amazon Wardrobe Try On haul! I’ve had access to this feature on my account since it started but never gave it much thought. Because you can order up to 8 pieces, only pay for what you keep and have 7 days to try on I figured it was time to give it a go. And I’m so happy I did! In fact, I’m about to place my second order with it. The free shipping + free returns make it all super easy. Plus I hate shopping in person so this is now a no brainer. First time using this program, I only ordered 6 pieces. But I’ll definitely do 8 next time since I can!

Amazon Wardrobe Try On – Dresses

First up, this black slip dress. When I say I was shocked by the quality, that feels like a drastic understatement. It comes in 9 colors + a leopard print option and is incredibly versatile. So much so that I think this is something that can truly be worn year round. Another plus to it is it makes a great wedding guest dress! But if it were me, I’d for sure go for the pink or green. Also–how cute would this be with a graphic crewneck & sneakers? And for reference, I’m in the XS — definitely size down!

Second dress up is this adorable tiered maxi. It was the one item I knew I was going to be a huge fan of. And I was/am. But I accidentally ordered a size small. So I did have to re-order in an XS, which should be here later next week. This dress definitely runs big just like the slip dress so don’t be afraid to size down. It comes in black and a darker neutral (mushroom) color if this lighter beige isn’t your thing. Since I follow a ‘style 3 ways’ rule, I want you to know this maxi passes that test! Add a denim jacket for a chilly Summer night. Or layer a leather jacket on top for an edgier look. Another cute, but different vibe, option would be throwing on a white tee underneath!

Last up for dresses is a CLOSET MUST HAVE: this hooded sweatshirt dress. With 6 color options, there is truly something for everyone. And the material is AMAZING. In fact, I actually thought this was higher quality than one I tried with 2x the price tag. Because of the style, I did size up to a medium. You could stick with your true size if you’re planning to wear this more as a long hoodie vs. a dress. This is a total ‘throw on & go’ look. Believe me, you’ll be happy with it if you order.

Amazon Wardrobe Try On – Tops

This tank top though. So good. And SO FLATTERING. Like this is my ideal tank right here. Also comes in olive and a tan option. It has a nice thickness to it which keeps it from being see-through. But it isn’t overly thick where I’ll be hesitant to wear it all Summer long. I am wearing a small and it fits perfect. So slimming. And incredibly chic. 12/10 suggest ordering this one to try!

Second tank is this sweater tank and I’d say this was by far my least favorite item from the try on. While I think it’s cute, it’s underwhelming for me. And I feel like I could get it even cheaper than the $30 from Amazon. So this one was a return. But if you have more chest than I do, I think it would be WAY cuter! Also comes in 3 other colors–black may be my favorite. For reference, I’m in a small in this and if I kept it would need to size down.

Last but definitely not least is this faux leather shirt jacket. Not everyone loves this trend and I get it. But I sure do! The color of this one is even better in person! And if tan isn’t your thing, it also comes in a pretty ivory option. I am wearing a size small and it’s the perfect mix of oversized but not TOO oversized. As you can see in this photo, it’s super easy to style really casually. But I also wore it with denim cut-offs and white loafers the other day and loved that combo, too.
