A Workout Wednesday post the day before everyone eats their body weight in carbs? Why of course! No excuses for falling off the wagon during Thanksgiving Week. At least I don’t allow those excuses in my house. You prioritize the things that are important to you. In my case, fitness is important, so the grind doesn’t stop.
Top 3 Questions of the Week…
Do you maintain your normal workout routine while traveling/on vacation?
Yes, I sure do. While I clearly can’t do the exact same routine in most cases, I maintain the same structure (i.e. Mondays are leg days, Tuesdays are speed, etc.). Workout Wednesday doesn’t change either – it’s still a double day! Consistency is key for me and I like to set the tone of my day while traveling just as much, or maybe even more so, as I do when I’m at home. Often times when we travel, we’re fairly sedentary… lounging around, enjoying some downtime, etc. This is the perfect example of why I find movement absolutely necessary to kick off the day. If you struggle to stay strong with your workouts while away, that’s ok! Give yourself grace and always be sure you’re enjoying your time off. That being said, simple things like a nice long walk to take in your new scenery or a quick yoga flow is a great way to do something at least. And something is always better than nothing! Here is an ‘extra’ post with some ideas as well.

What size(s) are you at lululemon?
Anywhere from a 2 to a 6. Depends on the style. Align leggings, I’m a 2 in all the dark colors or patterns but I choose to size up to a 4 in the super light or pastel colors. I’m also a 2 in the cold-weather, Chase the Chill leggings. All other styles I wear – Wunder Train, Invigorate, Fast & Free, etc. I go for a 4. I always wear the 25″ length except in the Chase the Chills because they don’t offer 25″. Tops I am a 4-6 depending on how fitted they are and/or if I plan to layer underneath. Swiftly Tech long sleeves I always error to a 6 because the arms can get super tight. Typically a 4 in all tanks & tees. Sports bras I’m a 6 (34A for reference) and I find those always run small.

What is your ideal body type or look?
This one always stumps me when I get it in my DMs. The ‘what body type are you working towards?’ question confuses me. Maybe because I never really feel like I’m working towards a specific type of look. I’m working on getting stronger and being healthy. My legs will always get ‘bigger’ before my arms do. Having external ‘abs’ doesn’t come natural for me. My purpose is strength. The motivation I have is to be better today than yesterday. Do I want to be toned? Heck yes. But I don’t really have an ideal look I’m going for per se. Mainly I just want to feel good in skinny jeans! 🙂

What you’ll *ideally* need – your body! A yoga mat and a water bottle would also be great. Want to make it harder? Make this a 30 minute AMRAP or go :50 on / :10 off. Need to cut it short? Just do 1 round!
