How about another regular series on the blog? Monday Musings. Actually today’s would be Monday Musings – Vol 1. The first stab at this. A combination of things swirling around in my mind for the week. Love it? Great. Hate it? Well, maybe it’ll fall off after a while… 😉 Think of it as a way to get to know me better. Like having your first cup of coffee of the week with a close friend!

What I’m loving…

Babies. All the freaking babies. Kyle & I gained 3 new littles to our crew in a matter of less than 6 weeks. Smith, Braxton and Georgia. We’re obsessed. Everyone’s smart enough to know not to ask us if we have baby fever {thank God} but it’s pretty clear that Kyle wants all the babies. I’m kind of ok with that too.

I’m also loving cooler morning temps. Don’t get it twisted, I’m a #Summer4Lyfe kind of girl. But the lower humidity in the AMs = less sweaty runs and that’s something I can get on board with. Our windows are WIDE OPEN and nothing beats the curtains blowing in the wind.

What I’m watching…

Biggggggg Brother! If you know, you know. We started watching BB 2 years ago after our former roomies recommended it. It didn’t take long to hook us. Kyle can’t handle any of the Real Housewives’ franchises, so this is the next best ‘dramatic reality tv’ option for us.

I’ve been binge-watching Selling Sunset and am almost through season 2. I love it. So fun. Mostly terrible fashion but hey, you can’t have it all apparently. Lusting over those million-dollar homes is great, but you could not PAY ME to live in California. Helllll no.

3 items in my shopping cart…

Y’all will be shocked, but my shopping carts are empty. For now! I’ll be adding stuff with all the great Labor Day sales coming up, but right now they’re all zeroed out. Here are 3 things I bought this week that I can’t wait for though:

Faux Biker Jacket – Despite it being faux leather, it looks so soft. The price point is FAB and this brown tone is like nothing I have. I ordered an XS and hoping that I didn’t overestimate the roominess of the style…stand by!

Lounge Set (Sweatshirt // Shorts) – Can you ever have enough cozy sets? This one will easy double as pjs or as something to throw on for an early morning coffee run. I grabbed both pieces in a small & on sale!

Free People Pullover – So glad I ordered this when I did because the green is sold-out in all but XS. That’s the size I did though & it runs oversized! They just added a pretty ‘mocha‘ color to the options. Worth the $78, promise.

Still with me? Monday Musings – Vol 1 is just flowing today! I’ll keep my ‘ramblings’ to a 5 quick things…

• Twitter is a dumpster fire and apparently the acceptance of differing opinions is no longer a thing. Sheesh!
• We need rain! Our yard is FRIED and DEAD and BROWN and it’s depressing to look at. Come onnnnnn rain…only ~12″ short for the year– no big deal.
• My sleeping has been a shit show lately. No surprise there. Started taking a CBD gummy {from Vhi Fit — don’t see it on their site, but follow them on Instagram & send them a DM} about 30 minutes before going to bed and GAME CHANGER. 7+ hours every day for the last week. YAY!
• It’s #PSL season and GAG ME. I’m one of the {likely} few that despise the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It tastes like a candle to me.
• I didn’t read any books in August, so my goal is to finish 2 in September. Up first: True Colors by Kristin Hannah!
