Friday is finally upon us!
This week went by surprisingly quickly and I’ve felt relatively decent physically which has been a blessing. Emotionally I’m still on a roller coaster that knows no speed limits but with as with everything, time and prayer are sure to make the course easier day by day. I’ve continued to be overwhelmed by the amount of support and kind messages/words people have been sharing lately–y’all are AMAZING. Thankfully I have a job that I’m obsessed with and it’s been such a welcome distraction for me. We’re just a WEEK away from the studio opening and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s felt like a long time coming but we have a great crew in place and I’m itching to be up and running. If you find yourself in Omaha, be sure to book a workout class at the Midtown studio and come say hi to me! 🙂 This weekend is going to be pretty low key and I love it. It’s chilly & gloomy today so Kyle and I are going to grab some hot chocolates and do some exterior design shopping for the new house. Seriously cannot wait to see our visions start coming to life during the building process.
Flirty sleeves under $40.
It seems like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was ages ago but I’m still pulling out pieces I bought for the first time and that’s both a good and bad thing. Good because new clothes are always fun but bad because it means I definitely ordered too much. Ooooh well! This cutie ruffle sleeve dress was one of my grabs and it’s FINALLY back, fully stocked and comes in 6 perfect-for-Fall color options. The material is almost like a super thin sweatshirt so it’s incredibly comfortable. I’m just as easily able to wear it with booties for brunch as I am with sneakers and a denim jacket for weekend errands. Once again versatility wins as the most important aspect for me and at such a reasonable price-point I was able to justify ordering it in black as well! It does run a little on the short side, so just be careful bending over haha. If you’re on the taller side, the dress {especially in black} would love adorable over a pair of coated leggings! Since the dress is super basic, the fun addition of the ruffles on the sleeves makes it a little more feminine and able to be dressed up more if need be.
Cheers to the weekend, darlings! xox

So I love how simple but trendy this look is but the sleeves are giving me mixed feelings lol I think they’re adorable but I also feel like they would bother me personally? I don’t know, I just feel mixed about them lol It’s nice to see they work great on you though! Also, love the booties. I keep saying it but I really need to get some lol
