#1 Peanut Chicken Zoodles
I’m always pinning new recipes and seeking out healthy(ish) alternatives to some of Kyle and I’s favorite meals and THIS Peanut Chicken Zoodles recipe was a major success. Usually when I made zoodles I serve/eat them cold but this particular recipe called for them to be heated in a skillet for a few minutes after the other other veggies {I did red & yellow peppers, a slaw mixture and shredded carrots} have softened. Like usual, I changed up the recipe to fit us a little bit better and chose to saute everything in almond oil vs. sesame seed oil, skipped the garlic, and I cooked the chicken all day in the crock pot. Anddd I may or may not have used Whole Foods’ Organic Peanut Sauce instead of making my own. Sometimes ya just have to cut a few corners when you’re a working gal so I have no shame in admitting that making my own sauce just ain’t worth my time. But the pre-made stuff had amazing flavor and once mixed in with the chicken & vegetables, it was the PERFECT dinner for a cold, rainy evening. I have a strong feeling I’ll be making this regularly from now on!
#2 Roll Recovery R8
Does anyone have one of these Roll Recovery R8 Massagers!? Has anyone used one? I’m dying to get my hands on one but am struggling to justify the steep price tag. I’ve seen runners all over Insta raving about its benefits and how it ‘hurts so good’ but I feel like half of those people have been gifted one and they’re being compensated to say that. My basic foam roller isn’t really cutting it after my long outdoor runs on the weekends and getting massages every week isn’t in my budget either. My poor calves have been so tight lately and nothing seems to do the trick. I’m thinking this may be a great solution but I’d love some real life feedback before taking the plunge. Help a sister out! 🙂
#3 Baseball Hats
Does anyone else feel like they look super weird in hats? I seriously look at myself in the mirror when I put one on and I’m like ‘maybe not.’ Ughhh. But that clearly doesn’t stop me from buying them and wearing them because I don’t have time to wash my hair every day and I don’t care to have the sun in my eyes on the regular. When I’m throwing one on with a super casual outfit or workout-ish clothes I usually grab my trusty, vintage-y Red Sox cap but lately I’ve been wanting something different to add to the rotation. Solid baseball hats are super trendy right now and available literally everywhere so finding one isn’t my issue–it’s deciding on which one to buy. I have a few in my shopping cart {see them below!} but I’m hoping y’all can help. What one is your favorite!?
