The title of this post sounds like it could be a song!
Mr. Palmer Chet is making is fashion blogging debut this morning and I’d say he was a natural. I’m biased since he’s my first and only nephew but P. Diddy {the amount of times I actually call him Palmer could probably be counted on 1 hand} was literally all smiles while we were taking photos. I figured he’d be a fun accessory for this casual weekend look but lets be honest, he kind of stole the show. Most of the time, he’s got solid RBF going on and would prefer to stare down strangers than give them a big grin but the entire weekend he was hamming it up while Haley & I were out and about shopping. It was so fun having the two of them in town and was just the kind of relaxing weekend I needed! Unfortunately yesterday I alternated between laying on the bathroom floor and bed because of the new fertility shots I had to do on Friday and Saturday. Apparently nausea is the #1 side effect and you bet that I experienced it hardcore…thankfully I wasn’t at work dealing with all of that! I have even more respect for all you mamas out there who had rough pregnancies because 1 day of that was brutal enough.
The coziest wrap jacket.
Enough of my sob story, now onto the outfit part of today’s post! š I ordered this super soft wrap jacket during the Shopbop sale a few weeks ago and I wasn’t sure if I would love it. When I first got it I was instantly sold on the material and warmth, as well as the wrap style, but I wasn’t convinced I loved the shorter cut in the back. I thought it might look kind of weird on me so I kept it in the plastic for almost a week. I pulled it out again because I knew I needed to make a decision to keep or return and when I tried it on for Kyle, he convinced me it was a keeper. Pretty impressive since he usually rolls his eyes when I ask if I need another sweater! The fact that this can work as either a jacket or more of a sweatshirt/sweater means it ticks my box of doing double duty and the marled grey coloring is perfect for Fall/Winter. Since choosing to keep it, I’ve worn itĀ untied over leggings and a tank for a Whole Foods run as well as with a pencil skirt andĀ pumps for a dressier work look. On Saturday I threw the wrap over a tee and my go-to denim for a casual and comfortableĀ vibe.
Also, could we pause a moment for P’s fuzzy bear hat!? Can I get one in my size? Pretty please! Between that and his freaking adorable fox sweater/pants combo and Sperrys, I can’t even. This kid is way more stylish than I ever was at 7 1/2 months old. Heck, he’s probably more stylish than I am currently! Hoping your Monday is quick and painless!

Absolutely love this!! My little P should be a regular, it looks like he is loving it! We had so much fun with you this weekend!
Oh my gosh, your nephew is ADORABLE!!! And I also LOVE his hat. My son is 2 1/2 now so I am going to pull out those cute hats for as long as I can until he has an opinion on them, hahaha. I love that wrap jacket. Isn’t it the best when the hubby’s actually say “yes, keep it!!”
