#1 Skinnytaste Cookbook

Y’all, this cookbook is a GOLD MINE. I kid you not. Good luck finding a recipe you’re NOT interested in making. I’d debated buying this for a while and ended up having a few other items I needed from Amazon so I added it to my cart and called it a day. When it arrived, Kyle saw the title and rolled his eyes. For some reason he thinks I’m trying to get him to prefer tofu over steak and roasted cauliflower over french fries but I swear I’m not. But as soon as I started flipping through the pages–the food photography in here is so good–he found himself saying ‘ooooh that looks good’ to just about everything. I win! Last night I made the Buffalo Chicken Salads from the cookbook and this weekend’s menu includes the Lobster Rolls and the Chicken Marsala from it as well. So excited! If you don’t want to buy the entire cookbook itself, you can find free recipes on the Skinnytaste website, too!

#2 Paper Plates

Stay with me for a minute, but I’ve been incorporating 2 paper plates into my ab exercises and it’s been fabulous. They’re basically free because I’m sure you have some in your cupboard or pantry and they amp up things like plank jacks, push ups, lunges, etc. I prefer to use the plates on our wood floor in the basement because they move around a bit easier {we have thick carpet!} but you can definitely do it on your carpet, or any other surface you have. Last weekend while I was away for 4 days for work, I grabbed 2 Styrofoam plates from the breakfast area and did an ab circuit before bed. So much more difficult than regular spider planks or mountain climbers! THIS article from Shape Magazine gives some great exercise suggestions as well! 🙂

#3 Fall Home Decor

It’s not secret that every girl loves Fall. Scroll through Insta and you’ll see blanket scarves being worn {uhmmmm like where do you live b/c with the exception of the last 2 days, it’s been in the upper 80s around here!}, booties being pulled out from the backs of closets and suede skirts in full force. While I’m not ready to change my wardrobe just yet, besides adding a cardigan to tanks, I am ready to get our house ready for the upcoming season. I don’t like to decorate in a way that screams Halloween or Thanksgiving but instead gravitate towards cozy scents, chunky blankets and warmer tones in my table settings and on the end tables. Below are a few items that I’ve updated the interior with over the past couple days…

Blanket / Blanket / Pillow Covers / Wood Sign / Candles / Place Mats

Table Runner / Napkins / Mini Pumpkins / Garland
