#1 Desserts
There is no denying that I have a MAJOR sweet tooth. Like dessert before dinner, or actually more like dessert instead of dinner, is not an uncommon occurrence in our house. Kyle is almost the opposite, which is probably a good balance. He could eat nachos for every meal the same way I could eat brownies all day errrrrrrrday. I prefer it that way though because that means I never worry about the last cookie disappearing! 🙂 So in the spirit of yummy desserts, I thought I would share a few recipes that I’ve pinned lately {follow me on Pinterest HERE!}. One of the best things about my dessert addiction is that I hate baking so I don’t know when these will actually be made, but they’re sure good to look at! Cookies & Cream Cookies!? YES please. S’more Bars? Heck, yeah! Milky Way Blondies?! I literally can’t. ALL SOOO GOOD!
#2 Scheduling Workouts
When IÂ have specific things blocked off in my calendar, I keep those appointments and make them a priority. As someone who is super organized and Type A, I add my workouts to my calendar the same way as I do conference calls with vendors. This keeps me accountable and allows me to plan my day in accordance so that I’m able to knock out everything I want/need to do. I hear so many people say they don’t have time to get their sweat on and I can totally relate to that feeling! Once exercise became a habit and I prioritized it like any other important ‘date’, it became something that fit seamlessly into the hours of my day. **I also love to put my workout classes on my iPhone & work calendars so I get reminders about them**
#3 Raw Hem Denim
Totally and completely obsessed. I loveee, love, love this look. The more destructive the better in my opinion. I literally have 5 different pairs in various carts online since I’m right in the heart of ‘don’t buy anything in August’ mode. I swear on Sept. 1 I’m going to pull the trigger on 1 {or 2 ;-)} of the pairs. Something about this raw hem trend takes me back to my childhood and I really like the undone vibe. While this type of denim may not be appropriate for all occasions, I have spotted a few pairs that I know I could get away with wearing in my office on Fridays! Right now my favorites are these, these, these, these, these, these and these!
Such a great post!

Okay, let me say that A- I’ve been searching for a perfect pair of frayed hem jeans and B- you are my dessert soul sister! I have a sweet tooth SO badly and as a matter of fact, just said to Eddie 10 minutes ago that I could use a little ice cream or ices or a cookie or something sweet right now, and he said, “you say that every day” haha! He, like Kyle, doesn’t understand the struggle. As a matter of fact, I’m going to eat some Nutella because life is short, eat dessert first. xo
