Happy Thursday!
Of course that means I’m coming at you with some super insightful thoughts to get your day started. Yeah, they’re probably not super insightful but these are all things that have me thinking positively this week…
#1 Mediterranean Pizzas
I’m not going to lie, I crave carbs. Probably because I do my best to avoid them, they do their best to try to force themselves down my throat. All about balance, right!? 😉 I’ve been on a pizza kick recently but so many pizzas are heavy, loaded with crap and full of hidden calories. So off I went to search for something lighter & at least a little bit healthier. This recipe popped up and because I love all things Mediterranean, I knew I had to try it. It is a major WINNER in my opinion and so freaking good. The ingredients are delicious and I can make a few of them in less than 10 minutes. Great for those of us who don’t want to {or have the time to} spend an hour in the kitchen every night.
#2 Pistol Squats
They’re killers but they produce some crazy good results. Last Summer when my sister Cassidy lived with us, she had me trying these single-leg squats at least 1x/week during our leg days. Of course I couldn’t do them unassisted like she could {#goals} but I definitely noticed improvement in how easy difficult they were as the weeks went on. After she moved out, I threw the thought of doing them out the door since I no longer had her to spot me. Now it’s Summer once again and I like the muscle tone these can give to my otherwise less-than-ideal thighs. So I’m back at them. At OTF, I use the TRX bands for support and at home I use a bench. Regardless of how you do them, do them. It’s fun to see your progression and even more fun to see the results of your hard work!
#3 White Handbags
Beyond obsessed is probably an understatement. I’m seeing white bags everywhere and loving them all! I have yet to pull the trigger on one because I’m paranoid. Tell me…HOW THE HECK DO I KEEP ONEÂ CLEAN!? I wear a ton of dark denim and I feel like a handful of my current handbags have ‘denim stains’ from rubbing up against them. I can guarantee that’ll happy to a white bag but at the same time, I’m pretty convinced I want leather. Do you ladies have any white bag suggestions and/or tips and tricks to keeping your collection as clean as possible?! SHARE please! In the meantime, I’m over here drooling over this fringe option, this tote, this adorable mini bag, this crossbody and this shopper. Swoon!
I love pistol squats! I use the cables to do them as resistance and I love the back of my legs after a few weeks of incorporating them! Love this post 🙂
Oh I might have to incorporate some pistol squats! 🙂
When you find out how to keep a white purse clean (or any purse for that matter) please let me know. xoxox
Let me know what you discover about keeping white bags white! I am right there with you- I LOVE them, but my denim ALWAYS makes them turn blue! Maybe we just need to wear them with white jeans?!?
Thanks for reminding me about pistol squats. I magically *forgot* about these, but your thoughts reminded me why they are important. Adding them to the summer fitness plan NOW!

Here’s The Skinny
That pizza sounds amazing! I have been on such a pizza kick too, gotta try it out.
As far as keeping a purse clean, let me know if you find out lol! All of my non-black purses get so dirty because I’m not that careful with them. My suggestion would maybe be to use it only on special occassions when you know you’ll keep it off of dirty surfaces, and don’t use for day-to-day activities?

Pistol squats are so hard! I use the trx also! And girl you aren’t the only carb lover! I’m obsessed. Gimme all the pasta and bread lol. And I don’t own any white handbags because I am an OCD freak and I don’t know how I would keep it clean lol! But I think they are super cute!
I have the same issue with denim stains! The people in the Coach store told me to use Dove soap to get them out because its gentle!
Some of my favorite bags have gotten stained from my denim, too! Take it to a shoe repair store and they can usually put a protectant on the leather. Coach leather conditioner and cleaner also work pretty well! And if you’re brave enough Scotch Guard is a great way to protect leather goods, but I’d test it on a different bag to get the technique right!
Hope that helps!!

haha! i think the answer is you don’t! I would look for leather material and stay away from cloth like textures. I think leather isn’t that hard to clean! our leather couch is white and my 3 year old gets stuff on it all the time, 95% of it comes out.
I cannot do a pistol squat to save my life, they are SO hard. I use the TRX for assistance and definitely still feel the burn. I am so not balanced enough to do them unassisted, your sis is a champ!!
