#1 Bacon Chorizo Chipotle Smothered Meatloaf
I’ve gone Paleo for the next 2.5 weeks but am allowing myself cold brew coffee + 1 tbsp of Almondmilk Creamer in the mornings. I’ve not a big meat-eater so despite only being on Day 4, I’m pretty much over meat. As a major fan of Juli Bauer & PaleOMG, I figured what better place to gather all of my recipes than from her website. I made this meatloaf recipe on Tuesday night and LOVED it. It sure didn’t hurt that the house smell delicious, too. Kyle wasn’t a big fan after the first few bites but the taste grew on him and he ended up really liking it. It was pretty simple {I used coconut flour instead of almond flour b/c that’s what I had in the pantry} to make and I can see it being on regular rotation during the colder months.
#2 Bosu Ball
Never heard of a Bosu Ball? Don’t worry, not everyone has but you need to know about it. It’s basically half a rubber ball attached to a solid platform that can be used for all sorts of workouts. Mainly utilized for balance training, it produces serious results. Use it for anything from leg work, core-strength moves and everything in between. My favorites are using during burpees to really engage the core as well as for push ups and squats {with 1 leg on the center of the ball, ball side up}. I love the shakey feeling I get, especially in my abs, when working with the Bosu. While it’s not the cheapest piece of equipment to purchase for yourself, I personally think it’s a great investment & addition to your home gym. Not interested in spending $100+? Most gyms, even lots of hotels that I’ve stayed at, have them. Don’t be afraid to ask next time you’re at your local fitness center if they have one–you’ll thank me! 🙂
#3 Fun Welcome Mats
Kind of cheesy but that’s ok! I love changing out the Welcome Mats at our front door each season, more than that if I find a really cute one when I’m out and about. I bought this Hello one about a month ago at Target and have gotten so many compliments on it when people come to the house. The bright turquoise color really pops against our grey siding and white trim! We also have this one from PB as a neutral option when I’m feeling less colorful and this one at our back sliding doors as a fun reminder to Beckett, no worries that he can’t read! 😉 I’m also loving this one {currently in my cart!} for Fall.

That recipe looks delish! I used to work at a PT clinic and they are all about bosu balls!!
