It’s fun to get dressed and put myself together, but on the weekends–Hello almost every Sunday afternoon–I like to take it down a notch. Or two, or three, but judge not lest you be judged. Am I right?! 😉 This past Sunday I co-hosted a Bridal Shower for my sister Haley in South Dakota, where I was dolled up in this flowy dress and these stacked heels, and after  had to make the drive back to Omaha. Needless to say the moment I walked in my front door, off came all of the ‘cute’ stuff. Much like I do after a long work day, I traded my dress for leggings and a comfy t-shirt, my heels for bare feet, and up went half my hair to the top of my head. {My sisters & Kyle refer to it as my Bam-Bam (even though it’s Pebbles they mean) look but I’m not even sorry about it!}Â
I’ve always been a fan of graphic tees and when I spotted the slogan on this particular one on The Panachery Boutique’s website, I knew it needed to be mine. I paired it with my all-time favorite Zella leggings that I may or may not own in 4 of their 6 currently offered colors. Seriously ladies, these are a DREAM! They’ve got a slightly higher rise than some leggings and hold you tight in all the right places, plus they keep their shape extremely well. Some graphic tops can be overly obnoxious, so I stick with ones that have a message I’m totally behind like this, this, and this. Pair any of these fun options with leggings like I did for a low-key afternoon at home {don’t forget the essential Starbucks beverage & good book}, tucked into a denim skirt with a cardigan for a totally unexpected look, or with distressed jeans & Converse for a casual outing.Â
Don’t forget that all A Midwestern Mix readers can use code MWM15 to get 15% off your purchase from The Panachery from now until Tuesday, September 22!
