I’m holding onto these last few warm days with all I have. Apparently I am one of the only people who isn’t wishing for Fall to get here quite yet because I’m seeing blanket scarves, boots, and turtlenecks all over my social media feeds! While I still can, I am wearing–and enjoying–as many summery prints and sleeveless items as possible. I have always admiredShow Me Your Mumu’s fun, eclectic patterns and their flowy shapes so when I saw thismaxi online, I knew it had to be mine. The v-neck front and deep v in the back take the dress up a notch but the more subtle {by Mumu standards!} print keeps it from being too over-the-top for my liking. Few things can beat a piece that is comfortable, cute, and requires no matching!
Knowing that the evenings have begun to bring a bit of a chill with them lately, I opted to bring along my trusty denim jacket and am so glad I did. This jacket is one of my most versatile pieces (I’m wearing an XS as I prefer a fitted look vs. the boyfriend fit!) and it has taken me from season to season effortlessly. The movement of this maxi is definitely my favorite aspect of it and I love how the colors look different depending on the light. Letting the dress speak for itself, I kept my accessories to the bare minimum and pulled my hair away from my face. Unfortunately this is one clothing item that will likely be retiring for the rest of the season; though I’m hoping that paired with these booties, this cozy cardigan, and a skinny belt will get me one more occasion out of it!
