Getting ready to embark on a 9+ hour road trip is daunting in itself and figuring out what to wear on the drive can make it even more stressful. While usually easiest to throw on some old yoga pants and a hoodie, it is nice to have a slightly more presentable outfit for those food/potty break/stretching stops. I feel so much more put-together when I at least have on something that matches. 🙂Â
These joggers are the perfect alternative to my well-loved Groove Pants. They’re comfortable, functional, and the fact that they’re black will hide any spills that may occur on the road. I was a little hesitant with the tencel material but I LOVE it. I am cold 98% of the time so some sort of sweatshirt or cardigan is a must on all occasions; this one from Splits59 is super soft and light-weight. {If you haven’t heard of Splits59. check them out! I’m obsessed–but that’s a whole post on its own!} I don’t normally go for things in this color of green but I’m glad I did! This Herschel bag is a staple for weekend travel. I bought it for Kyle (because of the cute camo pocket) but I think I’ve actually gotten more use out of it. It’s the perfect size and the side compartment for shoes is really convenient. The quality of their duffles, backpacks, totes, etc. is outstanding and they’re really durable.Â
Cheers to a fabulous weekend ahead!Â
